SO TODAY, I opened an email from CurlyNikki, with this announcement:

Ok, so I am NOT your typical gel person. AT ALL. I prefer serums if I need some type of anti-frizz. You will never see me use a gel when I wear my hair "down", and that's because gel is usually for some kind of "hold", and since my hair is so fine, the hold I get from using gel ends up looking more of a "crisp". Now, I LOVE my Aloe Vera gel, but from my "snatched" or "slicked down" style, I love my "black gel". I put ALOE VERA gel first, then put the "black gel" to give me a soft slick down look. I feel kinda DUMB for even CONTEMPLATING purchasing this gel because I have a HUGE, barely touched tub of Eco Styler ARGAN OIL gel,

I got this for $2.99 at Sallys

which BTW, I DO NOT like. Its WAY to thick, and the hold is WAY to hard. I understand its a 10 MAX hold, so I did cut Eco Styler a little slack :)

So, in a nutshell, I think I will purchase this Ampro Olive Oil gel, because they claim it is the "most moisturizing styling gel we’ve ever made" and  "our NEW Olive Oil Gel was specially formulated to meet the needs of consumers who wear their hair naturally and is also great for those who desire a hold without the hardness our protein gels provide". If it performs like my aloe-vera-gel-ampro-pro-style protein-gel mixture, then its a keeper!!

DO's and DON'T(s)

HELPFUL HINTS :)

DON'T use a pair of heels that are super snug, or too small.

If you don't have a steady hand, DON'T use a FULLY CHARGED power drill. Its obviously
powerful, and it can cause your hand to slip. (TRUST ME; I had a huge "scar"on
my heels, that I had to cleverly cover)

DO create a pattern, I recommend putting the shoe on your foot, THEN creating a pattern.
That was you can figure out your foots/toe pressure points

DON'T put spikes and/or studs on your toe "cleavage(s), or toe knuckles, big
toe or pinky toe area. If you have bunions or corns, avoid those areas *Wink*

DO use the moleskin food padding.

I prefer the WALGREENS brand, they are thinner, you get three sheets, and CHEAPER!!!

DO- PICKUP after yourself!! DON'T leave around children and DON'T leave these on the floor. You may step on them, and STAB your foot (from personal experience!!!!)

EXTRA:
If you are using canvas, or a super thin pair of heels/pumps/shoe(s), you may want to check this out.....this device creates holes and grommets. I purchased one for future DIY projects....

I need these in my life. Over the knee AND leather. YES, I'm an UGG girl! But $350?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  They come in Chestnut, Lotus Brown, Black, and Black Sparkles. Since I already have Black Snake Uggs, I'm gonna go with the "Lotus Brown"...it basically looks black, but with cool cream contrast. These will basically pay for themselves by how many time I will wear these, but still, $350!! MAC BOOK woes.....

JUST ME VENTING

I must either be RETARDED or extremely LAZY, because I just cant seem to GRASP my new MACBOOK. PS- Did I mention already on this blog??? PROB NOT

OK, so early Sept 2011 (yes, as in 2 months ago) I purchased a new MACBOOK PRO :)

But every time I go to, say....edit a YT video or edit some pictures, I find myself running to my good ol' VAIO, because this MACBOOK is just taking too long and I don't have the patience to learn. It seems like the WHOLE WORLD is in love with APPLE in general, but I just don't get it. My very first laptop was the UBER TRENDY Orange IBOOK, so my new MAC isn't completely foreign, but as far as editing "stuff", it just isn't the same.  IS there some kind of MACBOOK FOR DUMMIES online site where I can just skim over the basics, sorta like "Cliffnotes-for-the-LAZY"?? Now that the excitement has wore off, I keep think to myself "I could have gotten 2 pairs of Christian Louboutin heels, or least one FAB pair instead......"
